Summer Checklist

Doggy & Me

It’s finally summer! The sun is shining, the temperature is rising and we come out of our hibernation mode with a strong desire to spend every second of our free time outdoors. For dog owners, it’s the perfect time to bond with your furry baby, check up on their health, and start the season on a high note. If you don't know where to begin, don’t worry, we’ve put together a checklist of fun & essentials activities just for you and your pup. So, without further ado, let’s get to it!

Fun Activities

  • Camping
  • Camping with dog

Looking to change up your routine? Then take your dog on a camping adventure! You can go all out and rent a site with tents or set camp in your backyard. It’s the perfect way to spend quality time together and a great opportunity to take some of the most Insta-worthy pictures.

  • Exercise together
  • Exercising and running with dog

There are so many activities you and your BFF (Best Furry Friend) could enjoy together! Take out the leash and bring them along with you for a jog or a bike ride. Want something a bit more relaxed? Take them to the park to play fetch or by the lake for a quick swim (but don’t forget their safety vest).

  • Time for new tricks
  • Dog tricks, learning new tricks

What better way to spend your time outside than by teaching your doggo some new tricks. Whether it’d be new commands like “high-five”, basic obedience training, or a full-blown obstacle course, you’re sure to have loads of fun.

  • Pool Day
  • Swimming with my dog

The perfect way to keep cool on a hot sunny day? Pool party! If you don’t have one, no worries. Your dog will have just as much fun, if not more, playing around with you and the water hose. Just make sure it’s set on a pressure level that won’t hurt them and splash away!

  • Dog Park
  • Dog park

Your furry buddy just spent most of winter and confinement indoors or on a leash (even worse if you live in the city with no backyard space). So take them to the dog park or to any area where they’ll be able to run freely and go crazy on the zoomies!
Ultimately, the only thing that matters is that you and your dog have an amazing time out in the sun! We hope you and your little (or big) ball of fur will have a fun start to your summer!
